Ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer, EVA for short. General vinyl acetate (VA) content in 5%-40%, compared with polyethylene PE, EVA due to the introduction of vinyl acetate monomer in the molecular chain, thereby reducing the high degree of crystallization, improve toughness, impact resistance, filler phase compatibility and thermal sealing performance, is widely used in foam footwear, functional shed film, packaging mold, hot melt adhesive, wire and cable and toys and other fields.
 

Wide range of uses:

EVA resin is widely used, in general, according to the proportion of vinyl acetate content, can be divided into the following uses:
1 EVA with VA content below 5%, its main products are film, wire and cable, LDPE modifier, adhesive, etc.
2 EVA with VA content of 5%~10%, the products are elastic film, injection molding and foaming products, etc.
3 EVA with VA content of 20%~28% is mainly used for hot melt adhesives and coating products;
4 EVA with VA content of 28%-33%, photovoltaic materials, solar cell adhesives, etc.
5 EVA, adhesive with VA content of 38%-40%;
6 VA content in 5%~45%, the main products are film (including agricultural film) and sheet, injection molding, molding products, foam products, hot melt adhesives, etc.
